Industry Silos
The CallingTheCape Board has been structured in such a way that there is equal private sector and public sector representation. The public sector plays an integral role in the success of CallingtheCape and the accomplishment of its goals and is represented by The City of Cape Town, The Provincial Administration of the Western Cape and Wesgro.Within the private sector, CallingtheCape has identified the major components within the industry and allocated sub-committees, which are headed up by the various specialist CallingTheCape Board directors.
It is the responsibility of each unpaid director to recruit and encourage participation, within their area of specialization, from the community.
Each director is tasked by the joint CallingTheCape Board to carry out certain tasks and responsibilities and to report back on the results.
