Talent Development Division: Overview Structure
A brief overview of responsibilities and reporting lines of our staff compliment.
Talent Development Manager – this individual would be responsible for all CallingtheCape’s CADET programme. This individual would set strategy and direction, manage the division, develop a marketing strategy for the Job Centre and report to the Executive Director of CallingtheCape.
Financial Controller – this individual would be responsible for controlling all the debtors, creditors and budget controls for the projects as well as draw down of tranches from funders, payments and collections as well as payroll for the division and learner stipends.
This role reports to the Talent Development Manager.
Registrar – this individual is responsible for control of learner databases, learner registers, training schedules and provider management.
This role reports to the Talent Development Manager.
Project Customer Relationship Manager – is responsible for the procurement of hosting companies, vetting of hosting sites, customer relationship management with the hosts as well as the overall management of the learnership programme and its workflow.
This role reports to the Talent Development Manager.
Personal Assistant – this individual is responsible for diary management for the talent development manager and project customer relationship manager as well as stationery and office supply coordination, typing and presentation design.
This role reports to the Talent Development Manager.
Marketer – these interns manage the implementation of the marketing strategy and analysis of marketing related statistics.
This role reports to the Talent Development Manager.
Learner Retention Manager – the two individuals are responsible for learner retention in the programme, one for learners from entry to the preparatory programme to completion (Entry) and the other for contracted learners on the learnership as well as the exit strategy for gainful employment. Both individuals are appointed to manage the EAP programme for the learners on the entire programme.
This role reports to the Talent Development Manager (Entry) and, the Project Customer Relationship Manager (Exit) respectively.
Data, Enquiry and Admin Clerks – these individuals are responsible for learner enquiries, registrations and capturing of CV information as well as building portfolio of evidence (PoE) template files and loading learner information.
This role reports to the Registrar.
Moderator – this individual is responsible for the design and development of PoE template assessment instruments, developing the moderation and assessment strategies as well as conducting internal moderation of learner PoE’s and managing the assessors.
This role reports to the Talent Development Manager.
Assessors – these individuals are responsible for the assessment of the learner formative and summative evidence as presented in the learner PoE’s and includes on the job live assessments and interviews. It is also a requirement for them to facilitate learnership orientation and deal with appeals.
This role reports to the Moderator.
Host support coordinators – these individuals are responsible to assist the host appointed coaches and evidence collectors in ensuring the learner evidence is collected, personal development plans and coaching is being conducted in the workplace as well as collating attendance records and other documentation required for leaner PoE building. Reports to the Project Customer Relations
